Initially their focus was on fine stationery but over the years, more and more home decor products were added. All illustrations are created by the artist Andrea Hild, in her Kreuzberg studio.

Nuukk attaches great importance to sustainability. This is reflected in the choice of materials (paper made from recycled paper, baby products made from organic cotton and BPA-free bamboo tableware). In addition, nuukk cooperates with a Berlin workshop for people with disabilities, but also with psycho-social impairments. They support them finding opportunities for education and employment.
